James, naturally, was not at the home when it was sprayed. Authorities are looking at security footage. It may be treated as a hate crime. James bought the six-bedroom, 9,350 sq ft home in 2015.

James is more than likely in the Bay area preparing for game 1 of the NBA finals set for tomorrow.

About To Pop! Queen Bey Sticks To Her Roots For ‘Carter Push Party’

(SL) – Wooooh! Beyonce’s dad says she’s got about two more weeks to go before she delivers her twins. But, by the looks of these pics, don’t be surprised if it happens before then.

Queen Bey was seen at her African themed baby shower and mannnnn oh mannnnnn…It’s about that time. Joined by her mother, Kelly, Michelle, Vanessa Bryant, LaLa and others, Beyonce looked relaxed with a bikini top and a sarong on.

The 35-year-old accessorized with gold earrings, a silk headscarf and a henna tattoo on her belly.

The bash was held at a private residence in Beverly Hills and gold balloon letters could be seen spelling out ‘Carter Push Party’ and ‘Twinning.’

True to Carter style, it was a  family affair with Blue Ivy and lots of her friends running around the grounds of the estate. Solange’s son Juelz was also seen chatting it up with a friend. The decor was African themed and very colorful with lounge seating areas, floor pillows and rugs on the floor.

Rumor has it that Beyonce is having a boy and a girl. But….we’ll have to wait and see if that’s true.

In other news, Forbes reports that Beyonce and Jay z have finally reached billionaire status. Her net worth is valued at 350 million while Jay is creeping up on Puffy’s heels (10 million behind) for richest rapper with 810 million.

Atlanta United Impressive In 4-1 Win Over Houston

(SL) – Pop star Bruno Mars has a song called “24 Karat Magic in the air”. Atlanta United’s Miguel Almiron was 24K magic on the field for the 5 Stripes on Saturday night. His sorcery was on full display as he registered his first Hat Trick in Atlanta’s 4-1 dominating victory over first place Houston Dynamo at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Atlanta used superior possession 63% to 37% to control the game from the start. It took a while for United to unlock the puzzle box which was the bunkered Dynamo defense but when they did, the goals came quickly.

18557008_584798664529_6431264926102564172_nA wickedly powerful left footed shot opened the scoring for ATL in the 30th minute of the match. Almiron picked up a pass from teammate Yamil Asad on top of Houston’s area and his first touch set up his scoring strike perfectly for the 1-0 lead.

Almiron’s second goal was more impressive. Julien Gressel’s run to the goal line and cut back cross eventually found Asad who set up Almiron, who showed incredible strength as his first shot from the top of the box was blocked by a Houston defender but Almiron kept his composure and was able to deposit a left footed sliding shot into the top of Houston’s net for the 2-0 lead.

18582438_584798464929_7550103134986754115_nGressel scored the third Atlanta goal after some scrappy and persistent play in front of the Dynamos net by United. The midfielder, benefited from a good slide tackle from Hector Villalba that caused a turnover. Gressel picked up a loose ball in Houston’s area and his side footed finish beat Houston keeper Joe Willis to push the lead to 3-0.

Atlanta closed out their scoring with Almiron converting a penalty kick after Villalba was pushed down in the penalty area for a 4-0 lead. Houston did pull a goal back on a penalty kick converted by Erick Torres after handling was called on Jeff Larentowicz for the 4-1 final score. The PK should not have been awarded because Houston Attacker and Atlanta native Ricardo Clark was in an offside position when his cut back was handled by a sliding Larentowicz.

18622183_584798599659_3532443859194731993_nAtlanta should have revenge on their minds when they host NYCFC Sunday at 5pm at Bobby Dodd stadium. NYCFC beat Atlanta 3-1 three weeks ago in The Bronx. United seems to have righted their ship and with a boat load of home matches should have a great chance for a playoff birth

He Who Laughs Last….Trump May Have Walked Into Impeachment With Comey Dismissal And Subsequent Tweet About Taped Conversations

(SL) – I don’t know what else has to be done before Capitol Hill does what it needs to do. Whether it’s the continuance of business profits while holding office, setting off bombs without consulting Congress, Mike Flynn, Steve Bannon..the list goes on. The Rolling Stone says it best:

ct-oregon-man-dies-trump-impeached-20170418We have watched this unfold in the open: Trump has thumbed his nose at custom and the Constitution by refusing to resolve the conflicts of interest that will now shadow his presidency. He has used his Twitter account – a 21st-century bully pulpit – not to unify Americans behind his agenda, but to settle personal scores in a sustained assault on freedom of the press, freedom of assembly and freedom of speech.

Trump has installed an inner circle that aims to marginalize millions of our countrymen, even as it seeks to degrade the institutions of our government. Finally, Trump has clutched Russia in a perplexing bear hug. Whether he’s done this out of genuine admiration for its brutal regime, because he’s indebted to its oligarchs, or because Trump has somehow been compromised by former KGB colonel Vladimir Putin we have yet to resolve. For Americans, and for our NATO allies, none of these alternatives will be reassuring.

Republicans in Congress have stood by quietly, almost without objection. They’ve acted as enablers – even as Trump has inserted himself as the ur-chairman of publicly traded companies, blessing their manufacturing plans or tanking their stock prices with a single tweet. Republicans used to object to politicians “picking winners and losers.” Just last July, Speaker Paul Ryan called it “a recipe for a closed economy – for cronyism.”

History will judge this period harshly.

Conflicts of interest
Trump has not released his tax returns. The American public remains in the dark about the debts and deals that could bind the 45th president against the national interest or pervert the foreign policy of the United States.

The lack of transparency matters because Donald Trump has not divested from his businesses. His promises to set up a blind trust and to halt new business deals were both empty. As the director of the U.S. Office of Government Ethics, Walter Shaub, described it, Trump’s decision to hand daily management of the Trump Organization to his adult sons instead is “meaningless from a conflict of interest perspective.”

Anti-Trump-protester-and-Donald-Trump-803651

Sounding more than a bit like Richard Nixon, Trump has proclaimed that “the president can’t have a conflict of interest.” By a lawyerly reading of 18 U.S.C. § 208, that may parse as true – but the claim is false from any moral perspective. The Supreme Court has written that when our leaders “engage in activities which arouse suspicions of corruption,” those office-holders endanger “the very fabric of a democratic society.” Trump, Shaub insisted in remarks delivered January 11th at the Brookings Institution, has failed to rise to the standards “that every president in the past four decades has met.”

In fact, during the transition period, Trump and his children appeared to trade on his status as president-elect: The Trumps have reportedly secured a stalled building permit for a tower in Argentina; Ivanka Trump joined her father in a meeting with the prime minister of Japan, where she has business with a state-backed enterprise; and the Trump Organization’s new leaders, Don Jr. and Eric Trump, took seats at the conference table for a once-in-a lifetime meeting with executives from Facebook, Google, Apple, Amazon, Oracle, Microsoft and others at the “tech summit” convened by their president-elect father at Trump Tower. Even Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has been pursuing lucrative business deals with foreign investors. Trump has now named Kushner a senior adviser, skirting anti-nepotism laws.

The president’s global business enterprise remains an invitation to corruption – from interests who may try to ingratiate themselves to Trump by leasing his properties, golfing at his resorts or lodging at his hotels, including the new Trump International, down the street from the White House.

donald-trump-impeachment-petitionTrump’s business conflicts raise not only ethical but constitutional concerns. Can profits earned from foreign governments paying exorbitant sums for luxury rentals, hotel rooms, golf retreats or $24 cocktails be construed as either bribes or “emoluments” (i.e., gifts)? Those would be impeachable offenses under the Constitution.

The Republican Congress could act to place limits on Trump’s ability to profit from his office. Congress could also force Trump to reveal his tax returns, which 74 percent of Americans want him to release. But the only move a Republican from the legislative branch has made on presidential ethics so far is to threaten the independent government watchdog who dared criticize Trump.

This has left our 45th president, in the words of Harvard legal scholar Laurence Tribe, “a walking, talking violation of the constitution from the moment he takes the oath.”

And then there’s Russia.

Curly Hair, Don’t Care! Miss District Of Columbia Survives Healthcare Slip, Crowned Miss USA 2017

(SL) – Back to Back by Drake should’ve rang out following the 2017 Miss USA Pageant. It was a good show with a very diverse group of ladies. But as they were informed by Pageant officials early in the week. They only needed one of the.

What’s more than their dresses, how fit they are those swimsuits and even their occupation or education status is where these young women come from. What they have overcome.  Kara McCullough definitely has a story to tell. Some of it was share through FB Mother’s Day dedication to her mother.

Happy Mother’s Day to the strongest woman on earth. You never allowed your circumstances to define or control you. I often think about how you raised and loved three children that aren’t biologically yours. And when people asked you how many kids you have you proudly respond, “Five.”Image may contain: 1 person, sitting and childve.” That’s a true testament of a mother’s love. Thank you for taking me and my siblings around the world to experience worldwide culture. Thank you for having my back even when I was wrong. Thank you for teaching me to never limit myself. Thank you for calling me every morning to talk before class and work. Thank you for instilling qualities of a leader, team player, and lover. I love you forever and always. Just know everyday is YOURS. I LOVE YOU.

mccullough

Kara McCullough works as a physical scientist at the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission. In a recent interview with Refinery 29, McCullough was asked why she decided to go against the smooth blowout pageant trend. She said, “You answered it right there! With the paradigm shift of the competition, formerly a pageant, now a competition, we are highlighting aspects of a modern woman.”
The Top 3 Also Included:
Miss Minnesota and Miss New Jersey. NJ was a strong contender, but in the end it would be D.C. McCullough also funds a program called Science Exploration for Kids on her own. She tells the outlet, “I go to the schools to do science projects, tutoring, and presentations… I hope and pray these moments fuel tgettyimages-651939714hem for their entire lives.”
Deshauna Barber, the reigning Miss USA 2016, was originally Miss District of Columbia USA. She recently spoke to Fox about what it feels like to hand over the crown.
“Excited, but sad and anxious. Combination of feelings when you’re passing over your reign.
You feel accomplished and humble and thankful for the experience. I feel lucky to be able to crown the next winner of 2017.”

While there was plenty to celebrate in the final moments, the final three ladies went through several big tasks before a winner was crowned, but Kara was the one who walked away with the crown.

Miss Minnesota was the second runner-up and Miss New Jersey was runner-up for the title.

In the Final Question round, the final three woman were each asked, “What do you consider feminism to be?” One comment about Health Care had fans nervous for a moment. McCullough believes that Health Care is a privilege not a right. was asked whether affordable health care for all U.S. citizens is a privilege or a right, and she said it’s a privilege.

C_1MPwBXgAAA52nKara said, “I’m definitely going to say it’s a privilege. As a government employee, I’m granted health care. And I see firsthand that for one, to have health care, you need to have jobs, so therefore we need to continue to cultivate this environment so that we’re given the opportunities to have health care as well as jobs for all Americans worldwide.”

Girlllllll! With #MissUSA being a top trending item on Twitter, plenty of those tweets featured complaints about Miss D.C. losing the social media crowd by stating her beliefs that viewed affordable healthcare as a privilege.

Miss District of Columbia was amazing throughout the competition tonight…she definitely gets my vote!”

“I’m conflicted. I’ve been pulling for Miss DC from the beginning but her answers were… questionable. But Miss NJ killed that part…

“Even though D.C. just lost my vote, her dress is beautiful though .”

“Miss !! Brains&beauty. Nothing in life is free, healthcare = while we do strive to help as many Americans as we can!

“Let’s go ! You are fighting for your beliefs! It’s time to stop having politically correct beauty pageants!

“Miss District of Colombia would have my vote!

“I voted for Miss D.C. 55 times and then she said that healthcare was a privilege and not a right…bye .”

“Wasn’t a huge Miss D.C. Fan until I heard her answers. Now I’d be perfectly okay if she won. Loved her answers

“What!? D.C. STILL WON WITH ALL THOSE HORRIBLE ANSWERS!? Well I guessed right I guess

“Well that’s America today. A POS who says health care is a PRIVILEGE wins . I’m done.”

The Judges on the other hand weren’t swayed. Your Miss USA 2017 is Miss District Columbia, Kara McCullough

Travis Scott Arrested For ‘Inciting’ Riot At Show In Arkansas

(SL) – Well, this isn’t the first time this has happened. But considering that there have been a number of video released showing die-hard Travis Scott fans jumping from balconies; I think authorities are trying to give him a hint. “Tone it down.”

The Rogers Police Department reports that the “Antidote” rapper, 25, was arrested soon after he left the stage at the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion.

Police say during the concert Scott (real name: Jacques Webster) “encouraged people to rush the stage and bypass the security protocols to ensure concertgoer safety.” Several people were injured as the crowd rushed to the stage, including a security guard and a member of the police department. The  injured people were treated at the scene by members of the Rogers Fire Department and Mercy Medical.

Scott is being charged with inciting a riot, endangering the welfare of a minor and disorderly conduct and was transported to the Benton County Sheriff’s office. He was booked at the Benton County Detention Center at 11:14 p.m. He was released at 11:26 p.m.

This isn’t the first time (or even the second time) that Scott’s caused some mayhem during shows. Earlier in the month, he was filmed encouraging fans to jump from a balcony at a concert in New York City.

Video shows Scott encouraging a fan to jump from the third floor. The fan broke his leg and Travis was videotaped giving the guy a $100,000 dollar ring as he lay on the ground unable to stand.

No word yet on if the fan plans on suing Scott. Which is unlikely, seeing that no one pushed him. But you never know. In addition, he was arrested after allegedly calling on fans to jump the barricades at Lollapalooza 2015. And there was also an incident in Chicago that led to his arrest as well.

Earth to Travis…Keep the energy but don’t encourage fans to jump or bum-rush the stage. Kids.

Police Seeking Teenager Connected With Murder Of 17-Year Old Jesse Thomas

(SL) – Witnesses say it happened in a matter of seconds. All was good at a house party outside of McDonough until a fight broke out and shots were fired. One bullet struck 17-year old Jesse Thomas, a kid with a bright future celebrating his acceptance to college.

His father says, “From what I heard it died down and escalated back up really quick. No one knows what happened. Punches were thrown and the guy fired … He was just shot.”

Teen_killed_in_Henry_County_0_3306690_ver1.0_640_360Henry County Police say  about 1:40 a.m., officers responded to a house in the 1000 block of Maria Drive.

Officers found blood on the door, but no one was in the house.  Soon after, Thomas arrived at Piedmont Henry Hospital with a serious gunshot wound. Police say he later died.

person of interest_1494760973637_3307332_ver1.0_640_360

Now authorities want to talk to 19-year-old Dexter Covington saying he is a person of interest in the fatal shooting. Covington was seen in the area  driving a black Chevy Camaro with Georgia tag RCA2611.

Thomas was about a month away from graduating. His brother, Demetrius Sullivan, spoke to reporters. He was with Jesse when the shooting happened and drove him to the hospital.

He says Jesse was talking about being accepted to Indian River State College in Florida. The senior had dreams of playing basketball and making it to the NBA. To which his brother says Jesse proclaimed, we’ll all be good.

Anyone who sees Covington is urged to call Detective Rotella with the Henry County Police Department at 770-288-8269.
