(London) –– British royalty meets Hollywood royalty at the Lion King premiere in London. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were at the premiere last night, and mingled with Lion King star Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z.
Beyonce reportedly talked with the Duchess of Sussex about her new baby, Archie. Other celebrities at the premiere included Seth Rogen, Elton John, Taron Egerton and Vin Diesel. The new live-action version of The Lion King hits U.S. theaters this Thursday.
(Los Angeles, CA – AP) – The life of slain rapper Nipsey Hussle was celebrated by thousands in Los Angeles yesterday. Over 21-thousand people attended his memorial service at Staples Center.
His longtime girlfriend Lauren London delivered the eulogy, and called him the love of her life. Rapper Snoop Dogg and singer Stevie Wonder also took the stage to pay tribute to the rapper. Beyonce and Jay Z were also in attendance along with Kendrick Lamar, The Game and other celebs.
It was reportedly days ago that Nipsey born Ermias Asghedom had signed a management deal with Jay Z’s Rock Nation.
Stevie Wonder and singers Jhene Aiko, Anthony Hamilton and Marsha Ambrosius all performed.
Lauren’s son with Lil Wayne, Kameron Carter, also stole everyone’s hearts as he talked about a dream he had about Nipsey a couple of days after his death.
The service was followed by a funeral procession through the streets of South L.A. Hussle was shot and killed outside his L.A. clothing store on March 31st. He was 33.
(Lakeland, FL-AP) — Jay-Z’s entertainment company is reportedly helping to get a case dismissed against an eleven-year-old boy in Lakeland, Florida. Complex reports Team ROC enlisted the services of lawyer Alex Spiro to get charges against Jabari Talbot, a 6th grader, thrown out after he refused to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.
Talbot was arrested a month ago at Lawton Chiles Middle Academy. Spiro told the magazine Talbot should never have been arrested.
(AP) – Jay-Z is reportedly trying to convince Travis Scott to back out of his 2019 Super Bowl halftime performance. The rapper will be taking the stage alongside Maroon 5, the headlining act, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta in February.
Jay-Z wants him to pull out, though, because of the NFL’s handling of players kneeling during the National Anthem to protest police brutality. Maroon 5 has reportedly been having a hard time finding musical guests who want to perform with them, because artists reportedly don’t want to be associated with the league.

Filmmaker Steven Spielberg comes in second with three-point-seven billion, followed by television producer and former talk show host Oprah Winfrey with two-point-eight billion.
Former NBA player Michael Jordan is fourth with one-point-seven billion, and reality TV star Kylie Jenner and rapper Jay-Z are tied for fifth with 900 million each. The rest of the list includes magician David Copperfield, rapper Diddy, professional golfer Tiger Woods and author James Patterson.
(AP) — There are reports George Zimmerman has threatened rap mogul Jay-Z and his superstar wife Beyonce.
Jay-Z is the producer of a new documentary about Trayvon Martin, the teenager Zimmerman shot and killed while acting as a Neighborhood Watch volunteer in Florida. The celebrity news website The Blast reports Zimmerman insulted and threatened Jay-Z and Beyonce in text messages to a private investigator.
Zimmerman was acquitted of second-degree murder in the 2012 shooting death of the unarmed 17-year-old African-American.
(AP) — Beyonce and Jay-Z will be giving away over one million dollars to help students in need pay for college. The hip-hop couple will be giving 100-thousand dollars to one high school senior from eleven different cities they’ll be stopping at on their On the Run II tour. Each student will be selected by the local Boys & Girls Club.
The cities they’ll be selected from include Atlanta, Los Angeles, Houston, Phoenix and Miami. The donations are a collaboration of Jay-Z and Beyonce’s charities, the BeyGOOD initiative and The Shawn Carter Foundation.

Reports claim he actually touched Jay Z before he was apprehended by backup dancers and security guards. The 26-year old is now being charged with battery and disorderly conduct. Jay Z and Beyonce were unharmed.
(New York, NY) – Beyonce is revealing she had an emergency Caesarean section when her twins were born last year.
In the September issue of Vogue, the pop superstar writes she was swollen from toxemia and had been on bed rest for more than a month, when doctors said her health and the babies’ health were in danger. She added they spent many weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Beyonce also admits she has a little mommy pouch and is in no rush to get rid of it.
