(SL) – A new documentary claims Iconic Rapper Tupac Shakur knew who his assassin was, but law enforcement didn’t care to further the investigation.
His murder remains a mystery. But several specialty shows have pointed fingers at corrupt cops with gang affiliations for being responsible for both Tupac and Biggie’s death.
Tupac was gunned down on September 7, 1996, while driving through Las Vegas. Numerous people – including fellow New York rap hero Biggie Smalls, aka the Notorious BIG – were implicated in the death. Biggie would be killed almost 6 months to the day after Pac was killed.
Former LAPD detective Russell Poole believed both murders were orchestrated by Suge Knight. Poole who spent half of his career investigating the killings died suddenly in August 2015 while meeting with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s homicide investigators to discuss a cold case. Poole reportedly suffered a heart attack.
But the identity of Tupac’s killer has remained a mystery – because the cops didn’t care to look any further,
