(SL) – Former President Obama will pull jury duty in Chicago next month. Chief Judge Tim Evans confirmed that Obama has been called and plans to carry out his public duty as a citizen of Cook County.
The judge declined to provide specifics, but told the “Chicago Tribune” today special arrangements would be made to accommodate Obama’s security detail.
The former President owns homes in Washington, DC and Chicago’s Kenwood neighborhood. The paper notes Obama would likely be the highest-profile person ever to sit on a jury in Cook County.
