(Bronx, NY) – Five people are under arrest in the brutal murder of a Bronx teenager. Speaking with NY1, the victim’s mother said she is heartbroken by his senseless death.
Two of the suspects in the killing of 15-year-old Lesandro Guzman-Feliz were taken into custody in the Bronx. Three others were in Paterson, NJ. Police say more arrests are expected. The five are allegedly members of a Dominican gang known as Trinitarios.
Guzman-Feliz was hacked to death in a bodega on East 183rd Street and Bathgate Avenue with a machete and knives in what officials believe was a case of mistaken identity. The teen was a member of the NYPD’s Explorers youth program and wanted to become a detective.
A wake is being held today and tomorrow, a funeral on Wednesday, for the Bronx teenager murdered in a machete attack
(Bronx, NY) – Eight of the suspects caught on camera butchering 15-year old Lesandro (Junior) Guzman Feliz outside of Zesarina Grocery are now in custody after police say they apprehended two men in the Bronx and three others in Patterson, NJ.
The murder of the young boy caught world wide attention with many posting names and images of the suspects on line to help facilitate their arrests. Considering that members of the Trinitarios gang reached out to family members to apologize, it’s no surprise it didn’t take long for police to find the killers. This after news that it could’ve have been over a sex video and mistaken identity.
The video, which completely rips at your heart, shows the teen being dragged out of the bodega by two men while two other men working inside the store seemingly do nothing but shoo them away to make sure they leave. That’s where the nightmare began.
The men pull Junior around the corner and instantly attack him. Two of the murderers were armed with machetes while three others had knives. A sixth man captured on video had his face covered.
The savage attack lasts for less than 30 seconds and Junior is hacked and stabbed violently over and over again. When the teen is close to escaping one of the suspects appears to slice his throat from behind. Witnesses looking down on the scene yelled at the attackers to stop as Junior gets up and runs back towards the entrance of the store before coming back to the scene with blood gushing from his neck.
During the attack, a couple walking down the street, look on but do nothing. And one of the men who was operating the store peeps around the corner and sees the teen being stabbed to death….but again does nothing.
The youngster ran about a block up the road where more video shows him dying on the steps of a building directly across from St. Barnabas Hospital where people believe he was running to get help but couldn’t make it. Drenched in blood, surprisingly, he was still alive at that moment but later succumbed to his injuries.
Feliz’s mom says he left the apartment briefly to meet a friend and loan him 5 dollars. His mother told him to come right back and he never did. One has to wonder if the ‘friend’ set him up.
Junior’s brother-in -law, 19-year old Derek Grullon and his wife, Junior’s sister, say they have heard directly from members of the Trinitarios, a Dominican gang known for violence.
‘They said, ‘We had the wrong person.” She got a two-minute video mea culpa via Snapchat, he told the NYPost, in which the gang leader ‘said they kicked all of them out of the gang.’
The wrong person? The mistaken identity involves a sex video of a young woman having intercourse with another man while another guy live streams it. The woman is aware that she is being taped, covering her face with a shirt at times while participating.
It is believed that one suspect is still out there. Junior’s mother hopes neighbors will boycott the Bodega where it happened. Two operators of the store, one believed to be the owner, did nothing to help Jr. He all but helped the men drag Junior out of the store and to his death. Heartbreaking, considering the teen’s mom said the store’s owner knows her son very well and watched him grow up.
A go fund me page was setup to help the family with expenses. $15K was requested…almost $140K has been donated in 3 days. Rapper Cardi B donated $8K. Click on the link to contribute! Justice For Junior!
(SL) – When the death of 20-year old XXXTentacion was reported, fingers were immediately pointed at different potential suspects that could’ve had something to do with the young rapper’s murder.
While one of the accused, Soldier Kidd, was quick to deny any involvement in the shooting death of rap music’s next big star, one particular individual couldn’t bear the thought of someone getting recognition for something ‘his crew did’. So much so, that the man took to social media to post a video claiming responsibility for the latest tragedy to shock the culture.
The idea of not being attached to the mass attention encircling the murderous event emboldened this individual so much that he implicated himself, putting his freedom and life on the line to secure credit for the egregious act.
**WARNING – STRONG LANGUAGE**
In one of the most ignorant posts I’ve ever seen, the young man, draped in a ridiculous red wrap, aggressively claims it was him and his crew who murdered the 2017 Member of XXL Magazine’s Freshman Class and questioned the audacity of anyone else to identify himself/themselves as the shooter. The below image featuring Soldier Kidd and Soldier JoJo and a red mask (part of the suspect’s description) is what made people originally suspicious of the duo. But the guy in red wasn’t about to let that thought linger for too long.
Saying defiantly and I quote, “And you bit**-*ss boys claiming this body. Y’all know y’all ain’t do that sh** man. Real talk, y’all know who did that sh** man. Y’all need to stop lying on bodies. Y’all know we did that sh**, man.”
The idiot went on to implicate himself in even more crimes including other murders, robberies and felony type behavior that will earn him a one-way ticket to death row. And for what????? Clout. Attention. Likes.
Then, there’s the unknown rapper out of Georgia who literally edited a post to make it look as if he knew beforehand that XXXtentacion was going to get shot the day before he was murdered.
A few people saw the post for what it was but not before it was shared over 20,000 times.
And for what??? Clout. Attention. Likes. Then there was another wannabe rapper Yung Mac who posted “200 likes and I’ll upload the video of XXXTentacion saying he is not dead.” He included a little promo for himself in the process.
I don’t know which is wore the blatant attempt to mislead some of XXXTentacion’s fans into thinking that he wasn’t really dead or the almost 200 people that actually liked the foolishness.
CBS News with the help of Manhattan based clinical psychologist, relationship expert and social media guru Joseph Cilona took a look at what your facebook posts say about you noting that..
OUTSIDE OF YOUR EMPLOYMENT, WORKING INTERESTS OR CONTENT SHARING…You need social validation and attention if…
… you share viral content that everyone’s buzzing about.
“These individuals are often extremely concerned with attention and social validation. They are likely to be less interested in the actual content itself, and more interested in having an audience and how the audience receives and responds to the information,” Cilona says. “These kinds of needs and issues are similar to those who are attracted to becoming performers of some sort to gain the interest and captivate attention of an audience.”
You have a poor self-image if…
… you constantly post about how awesome, cool or fabulous you are.
“The irony with excessive status-seeking, self-aggrandizing posting [such as if you went to a fabulous party or had a blast at a particular event] is that it is a very strong indication of poor self-image, low self-confidence and an excessive need for approval, validation and recognition from others,” Cilona says. “There is often a dependence on outside approval to maintain a positive self-image and worth.”
This kind of posting pattern is also associated with narcissistic tendencies, including superficial relationships, lack of substance and manipulation, Cilona adds.
These observations can also be true if you’re a constant name-dropper.
You’re bored, lame or both if…
… you constantly update your Facebook profile with mindless things like stuff you watched on TV or what you ate today.
“Frequent and primarily banal updates can indicate a need for distraction from boredom, unpleasant tasks, or troublesome feelings and thoughts. This kind of behavior can also indicate a need for attention and validation combined with a more passive and introverted personality,” explains Cilona. “It’s also important to remember the obvious: someone whose updates consistently lack substance might simply be below average in creativity, originality and intelligence.”

Couch was 16 when he struck and killed four people in June of 2013, and is now just over a week away from his 21st birthday. A psychologist testified during his manslaughter trial that Couch’s irresponsibility was the result of his family’s wealth, calling it “affluenza.” Tonya Couch, Ethan’s mother, is awaiting trial on charges of hindering apprehension of a felon and money laundering after fleeing to Mexico with her son in 2015.

The nature of the dispute is unclear right now.
Police have arrested 21-year-old Davis Lee White Junior for first-degree murder. No word yet on a motive. He was charged with first-degree murder and held at a Guilford county prison.
(Jacksonville, FL) – The rape, kidnapping and murder trial of now 66-Year old Donald Smith continued Tuesday. And what the courtroom heard shook pretty much everyone present, some to the point of tears.
The graphic details of the rape and murder of Cherish Perrywinkle are unimaginable and what her accuser did following her death is just as awful. The medical examiner testified that Cherish had been raped to a point that her genitals were distorted. Semen, reportedly was found in her vagina, anus and mouth.
Jacksonville.com reports, bruising, excessive tearing of tissue and broken blood vessels from hemorrhaging — were shown in photographs and explained in length to the jury Tuesday. Valerie Rao, the chief medical examiner for the 4th Judicial Circuit explained her findings from Cherish’s autopsy.
“Bruising right here, right here, right here, a scratch here and a small bruise here,” she said pointing out just the left leg of Cherish.
Still left to show and describe to the jury were the bruises from excessive sucking on Cherish’s chest; the bruises on her buttocks; on her arms; her other leg; the ligature marks on her neck from the strangulation.
“There was tremendous force on her neck such that she could not breathe. She suffered swelling of the brain,” Rao said.
She explained how the vessels in the eyes are delicate and what happens to them when a person is being suffocated. On Monday, State Attorney Melissa Nelson said, “He gagged her, raped her, he sodomized her, then he strangled her. He gagged her with such force, her gums and nostrils bled. He strangled her with such force her eyeballs bled,” Nelson said. “Cherish did not die quickly, and she did not die easily. In fact, hers was a brutal and tortured death.”
As testimony continued, it was revealed that Smith’s jail conversations were recorded while the sex offender was awaiting trial.
Smith was asked about Cherish, “if she had some butt on her.”“She had a lot for a white girl,” Smith was recorded saying.
The audio as well as a recording of Smith saying that 12- to 13-year-old girls were his target and that he wouldn’t mind running into a particular girl at Walmart were the last pieces of the state’s evidence presented to the jurors before the state rested its case Tuesday afternoon. After a short recess, the defense rested its case too without calling any witnesses.
(Saint Michael, Barbados) – A joyous holiday has turned heartbreaking for superstar Rihanna. One day after spending Christmas with her family including her 21-year old cousin Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne, the celebrity-entrepreneur is now preparing for a funeral. The details are slim, but it appears her cousin was walking through the Eden Lodge Area of Saint Michael on the island when he was shot several times. There are reports that he was robbed, but that hasn’t been confirmed.
Alleyne was transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a private vehicle but later succumbed to his injuries. There’s been an increase in gun violence on the Island with statistics tallying 22 of the 28 murders committed this year were due to gun violence. Rihanna took to her instagram page to remember her cousin and call for more gun control. Another woman Tanella who appears to be his sister also paid tribute to the young man.
(SL) –As the 15th anniversary of Laci Peterson and her unborn child’s death approaches, A&E has been examining the case from top to bottom in a 6 episodes series that is both mind boggling and explosive.
It’s been happening for years, but never have I seen a case where a man was blatantly convicted and sentenced to death with ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE.
Beyond a Reasonable Doubt. The standard that must be met by the prosecution’s evidence in a criminal prosecution: that no other logical explanation can be derived from the facts except that the defendant committed the crime, thereby overcoming the presumption that a person is innocent until proven guilty.
Al Brocchini and Jon Buehler, former Modesto Police Department detectives who investigated the case; didn’t know who, how, when or where Laci Peterson was murdered but pushed without a doubt that Scott Peterson was guilty.
The standards are clear and when you watch The Murder of Laci Peterson, it’s obvious that they were left somewhere under a rock in the back of the Modesto Police Station. It is truly a tale of ‘TRUTH AND LIES”.
After what appeared to be a normal start to her day, 27-year old Laci Peterson disappeared. It was Christmas Eve 2002. She was 8 months pregnant with the couple’s first child, a boy they planned on naming Connor.
After watching the series, it’s baffling how authorities willingly overlooked the facts of the case just to corner a personal agenda.
(SL) – According to one of the jurors assigned to Keith Tharpe’s case, he’s a ‘n…..’. And after serving 26 years on death row, Tharpe’s attorney is hoping that racial bias will save his client’s life.
It was a grisly crime indeed. Keith Leroy Tharpe, now 59, was sentenced to death in 1991 just three months after he allegedly murdered his sister-in-law (Jacqueline Freeman) and kidnapped and raped his estranged wife.
11 Alive reports, according to court documents, Tharpe repeatedly threatened his wife and her family after she left him. One September morning, as Freeman and Tharpe’s wife were on their way to work, the 59-year-old used his car to force his wife’s off the road. It was there he got out of the car and, armed with a shotgun, forced Freeman to the back of the vehicle where he shot her twice.
After shooting the 29-year-old and rolling her body into a ditch, he kidnapped and raped his estranged wife.
During the sentencing phase of the trial, a Jones County jury voted unanimously for the death penalty.
After several petitions from Tharpe, the Department of Corrections Commissioner Gregory Dozier finally set the execution date for Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. at the Jackson County Prison
But now, word that during an interview, a juror told attorneys that he believes black people can be divided into two categories — “good black folks” and “n—–s,” could reverse the ruling.
The juror, reportedly, told attorneys he thought of Freeman’s family as “nice black folks” and said if her family “had been the type Tharpe is, then picking between life or death for Tharpe wouldn’t have mattered as much,” according to the motion.
The juror claims that he voted for the death penalty based only on the evidence, but Tharpe’s attorney believes his views on race were tied to his decision.
“Death sentences cannot be based on racial bias on even the part of one juror,” Kammer said. “It really undermines the appearance of and reality of fairness in death sentencing.”
Tharpe’s attorney, Brian Kammer, is asking a judge to take another look at Tharpe’s case.
If executed, Tharpe will be the 48th inmate put to death by lethal injection in Georgia.
