Trump Laughs About Supporter’s Suggestion To Shoot Migrants

(Panama City Beach, FL-AP) — President Trump is getting a kick out of one of his supporters joking about migrants getting shot at the border. During his rally last night in the Florida Panhandle, the President was making his case for a border wall and said their are “hundreds and hundreds” of migrants and only two or three border security people.

Trump said, we don’t let border security use weapons and “I would never do that,” and then asked, “how do you stop these people?” Someone in the audience yelled “shoot them.”

Trump laughed at the remark and said, “only in the Panhandle” could you get away with that statement, which in turn got a laugh from the audience.

Trump Calls Migrants Criminals, Threatens To Close Border

(Washington, DC-AP) – A day after hundreds of migrants tried to storm the U.S.-Mexico border, President Trump is considering closing the border permanently.

In a tweet this morning, the President says that Mexico should send the “flag-waving” migrants at the southern border back to their countries. He said that many of them are “stone cold criminals” and they are not coming into the U.S.A.

He called on Congress again to fund a border wall. U.S. border agents yesterday used use tear gas to break up the group storming the border. It also led to an hours-long closure of the San Ysidro Port of Entry near San Diego.

More Migrants At Border, Ready For Asylum Push

(San Diego, CA) – Hundreds of Central American migrants seeking asylum in the U.S. are getting ready to turn themselves in to Customs agents. A caravan of men, women and children are in Tijuana, Mexico.

They are expected to hit the border crossing at the U.S. late this afternoon hoping to make it into the United States under the asylum law. Lawyers from the U.S. have been setting up shop at shelters where the group has been staying, letting them know what they are in for when they meet Border Agents.

President Trump has told the Department of Homeland Security not to let the people into the country.
