(Washington, DC-AP) — Stephanie Grisham will be the new White House press secretary and communications director.
She will replace Sarah Sanders, who is stepping down at month’s end. Grisham has been First Lady Melania Trump’s chief spokesperson and will be doing both jobs. The announcement came from Mrs. Trump in a tweet today.
The First Lady said she and President Trump can think of no better person to serve the administration and the country. Mrs. Trump stressed that she is excited that Grisham will be working for “both sides of the White House.”
(Washington, DC-AP) –– Pundits and critics are panning President Trump for not reciting the Apostles’ Creed or singing any of the congregational hymns during Wednesday’s memorial service for former President George H.W. Bush.
The President and First Lady Melania Trump stood silently as the crowd in Washington National Cathedral – including former Presidents Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter and their wives – recited the creed.
The expression of Christian belief was printed on sheets given to everyone at the funeral. A number of critics tweeted shots at Trump, who won about 80-percent of the evangelical vote in the 2016 election.
(New York, NY) — Donald Trump’s in-laws are officially citizens of the United States after taking oaths this morning in New York City. Melania Trump’s parents, Viktor and Amalija Knavs, have lived in the U.S. since 2007 and are from Slovenia.
The Knavs’ lawyer Michael Wildes told the New York Times that the couple had been “sponsored by their daughter and then once they had the green card, they then applied for citizenship when they were eligible.”
When asked if the first lady’s parents obtained citizenship through “chain migration,” Wildes said, “I suppose. It’s a dirty — a dirtier word.”
“It stands for a bedrock of our immigration process when it comes to family reunification,” he continued.
Wildes’ explanation shines a light on the couple’s immigration status, which had been questioned in recent months as the president targeted “chain migration,” in which adult U.S. citizens can request residency for their immediate family.
Melania did not comment on the announcement.
(SL) – Donald Trump’s latest target on Twitter is LeBron James. After the basketball superstar’s recent interview with CNN anchor Don Lemon,Trump tweeted late Friday night that James was interviewed ”by the dumbest man on television,” but that he ”made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do.” The president also tweeted “I like Mike!” – suggesting that he sides with Michael Jordan in the argument over whether he or James is the greatest NBA player ever.
Among the athletes who have jumped to defend James is Jordan himself, telling The Associated Press ”I support LeBron James. He’s doing an amazing job for his community.” LeBron also received support from an unlikely defender…Trump’s wife Melania. She praised LeBron for what he’s doing and even offered to visit his new ‘I Promise’ school. Some of Trump’s supporters even lashed out at 45 saying this was a new low. Trump stayed away from the subject while he was campaigning in Ohio.
(SL) – President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani is defending recent comments about porn star Stormy Daniels. Giuliani had said Daniels has no credibility because of what she does for a living.During an interview with CNN today, Giuliani said Daniels has no reputation that can be damaged. He said, “If you’re going to sell your body for money, you just don’t have a reputation.” He also argued that feminists who support the porn industry should turn in their credentials.
He also said, in so many words, that given the appearance of Trump’s three wives that he would never entertain Stormy Daniels; adding that Melania believes her husband’s denial of the affair. A spokesperson for Mrs. Trump says she doesn’t believe Melania and Rudy have ever discussed the topic.
Daniels is in a legal fight with Trump over her claim that the two had an affair in 2006.Daniels’ attorney Michael Avenatti demanded that Giuliani be fired immediately. Avenatti said any man who has never watched porn is free to criticize adult film stars.
It’s important to note that Rudy Giuliani was married to his second cousin Regina Peruggi for 14 years, from 1968-1982.
(SL) – Porn star Stormy Daniels says she wasn’t attracted to Donald Trump, but she didn’t say no, either. Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, told CBS’ “60 Minutes” that she’s wasn’t a victim when the two allegedly had an affair back in 2006.
She did say, however, that she was later threatened in a parking garage by a man who told her to keep quiet about the liaison. Another revelation is that Daniels said Trump seemed taken aback when she wasn’t impressed by his talk about how he was on the cover of a magazine, a magazine she says she took and spanked him with.
Daniels maintains she signed a nondisclosure agreement about the affair but now is ready to talk.
(Washington, DC) – Adult-film star and director Stormy Daniels claims someone tried to threaten her to stay quiet about her alleged affair with President Trump. In the first televised interview on the matter, Daniels told “CBS 60 Minutes” that an unknown man approached her in a Las Vegas parking lot in 2011 while she was with her infant daughter.Daniels said the man told her to “leave Trump alone” and “forget the story,” and then looked at her daughter and said “that’s a beautiful little girl. It’d be a shame if something happened to her mom.” Daniels was reportedly trying to sell her story about the alleged affair with President Trump. The alleged affair apparently happened about ten years ago, shortly after Melania gave birth to her son Barron.Trump has denied the affair.
(New York, NY) – A former Playboy model claims Donald Trump attempted to pay her after they were intimate together. Karen McDougal told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that she honestly had feelings for Trump during their relationship in 2006. McDougal said she was shocked at the offer of money, and said she’s not that type of girl. She presented a planner with the initials “DT” scrawled on several dates. Trump married Melania Knauss in 2005, and McDougal acknowledged she knew he was a married man when they began the affair.
McDougal is suing American Media Inc., the owner of the “National Enquirer.” She claims the publication paid her 150-thousand dollars for her story, but it was never published. McDougal claims she was misled by American Media and her lawyer at the time, and wants the contract invalidated. She spoke with “The New Yorker” last month and maintains she was warned by the media company not to make any further disclosures.
(Washington, DC) — A new report says President Trump and his associates covered up a past affair with a Playboy Playmate. Model Karen McDougal provided an eight-page handwritten account of her alleged affair with Trump to the “The New Yorker,” claiming to have had sex with Trump at the Beverly Hills Hotel.McDougal also told the “Wall Street Journal” that the publisher of the “National Enquirer” offered to pay her $150-thousand for her story, but then did not publish it. The New York Times reports that she signed the agreement on Aug. 5, 2016, giving the publisher exclusive rights to her account of any relationship with any “then-married man,” with nearly half of the payment going to three men who had helped arrange the deal.
It’s believed that after Trump’s candidacy bid was gaining steam the National Enquirer whose publisher has ties to Trump, killed the story. It’s possible that it was just a plot to gain control of the information period. The deal McDougal signed apparently prevents her from ever talking about the affair. But it was leaked anyway. McDougal says the affair began after she met Trump at a party at the Playboy Mansion in June 2006. After communicating on the phone they met at the Beverly Hills Hotel for dinner.
McDougal says, “I was so nervous! I was into his intelligence + charm. Such a polite man,” Ms. McDougal wrote in the note about the encounter. “We talked for a couple hours – then, it was ‘ON’! We got naked + had sex.”The relationship allegedly continued until April 2007, when Ms. McDougal called it off, partly out of guilt and partly because of racially insensitive and disrespectful comments Mr. Trump had made.
The president’s personal lawyer, Michael D. Cohen, told The New York Times this week that he had used $130,000 of his own money to facilitate a payment to another woman, Stephanie Clifford, a pornographic film actress known by the stage name Stormy Daniels. In 2011, she relayed her account of an affair with Mr. Trump to a different tabloid, “In Touch,” which published excerpts from the interview in January.
The White House has denied the allegations.
(Washington, DC) – Adult film star Stormy Daniels won’t deny that she had an affair with President Trump, despite a denial issued in her name. A short statement provided by Daniels’ publicist quoted the actress as saying, “I am denying this affair because it never happened.”
But, Daniels appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” where she claimed not to know where that denial had come from. She would not say whether she had signed a non-disclosure agreement, as part of an alleged $130-thousand payoff to stay quiet, one month before the 2016 election. But her attorney now says the signature on the denial is indeed Daniels, adding she signed the statement in the presence of himself and her manager.
In 2011, Daniels told “In Touch” magazine that she had a sexual relationship with Trump, after she met him at a celebrity golf tournament in 2006.
