(SL) – The eyes of the world watched on as the long-awaited royal wedding took place Saturday. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now officially known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. They exchanged vows at St. George’s Chapel. The 36-year-old Los Angeles-born actress wore a flowing white Givenchy gown. Thirty-three-year-old Prince Harry and his best man, his brother Prince William, donned their military uniforms.
The couple announced their engagement late last year and their wedding yesterday, the second for Markle, makes her just the second American and the first person of mixed race heritage to marry into the British royal family. Bless her heart. Meghan seemed a little nervous as she took everything in. I’m sure her curtsy will smooth out a little as she continues to get used to royal behavior :). Harry looked pleased to have his future wife by his side as William and Kate looked to be giving her pointers along the way. Kate is pregnant with the 5th in line to the throne. Harry and Meghan will tie the knot in May.
(SL) – The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge got into the holiday spirit by releasing their family Christmas card.
Kate was chic as usual as Charlotte’s expression had everyone comparing her to the Queen. Like father like son, Prince George’s navy shorts were in sync with William’s suit to complete an adorable photo full of cuteness.
William and Kate are expecting their third child. It was also recently announced that Charlotte will begin nursery school in January at the Willcocks Nursery School in London.
(SL) – Delightful news for the Royal Family as it has been revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their child. The boy or girl will be fifth in line to the British throne.
Kensington Palace made the announcement today. As with all of her pregnancies, Kate is suffering from an extreme form of morning sickness, hyperemesis gravidarum,
The Duchess canceled her appearance at a children’s hospital in London and is under strict care at the palace.
It’s believed Kate is three months along. The newest edition will join Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, two. Where does this leave Harry…sixth in line, unless Will and Kate have more children.
(Daily Mail) – The Duchess of Cambridge dazzled in the Queen Mother’s tiara as she took pride of place on the top table next to Chinese president Xi Jinping and the Queen at the state banquet held in his honor this evening.
The Chinese national anthem played as the 170 guests assembled in Buckingham Palace’s lavishly decorated grand ballroom for the white-tie dinner, hosted by the Queen and Prince Philip.
It was the first time the Duchess has attended a palace state dinner, which comes at the start of a four-day state visit by the Chinese leader and seen as being key to cementing economic ties between the two countries.
