Trump Unapologetic About Racist Remarks Attacking Democratic Congresswomen

(Washington, DC) — President Trump is unapologetic about what some call his racially-charged attacks on four congressional Democrats, who are all women of color. Speaking at the White House today, Trump said they’re angry all the time and should leave the U.S. if they’re so unhappy. He also accused critics of making racist remarks in response to his comments. Trump called the four freshmen congresswoman “socialists” and said they hate the U.S. and Israel. The backlash was fueled by Trump’s remark that the four women should go back to their countries.

The four congresswomen are all American citizens. Trump said he has not mentioned the congresswomen by name but then accused Minnesota’s Ilhan Omar of making supportive comments about al-Qaeda. The other three congresswomen are New York’s Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Michigan’s Rashida Tlaib , and Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts.

It all started when trump tweeted “Progressive Democrat Congresswomen” who originally came from other countries are telling the “people of the United States” how the government should be run, adding, quote, “why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came.” He was assuming that because they are all women of color that they weren’t from the United States.  But, all but one were born in the U.S.

Trump Says He Is Still Considering Dumping Illegal Immigrants In Sanctuary Cities, Pelosi Responds

(Washington, DC-AP) — President Trump says he is still considering dumping illegal immigrants in sanctuary cities. In a tweet today, Trump accused Democrats of being unwilling to change “very dangerous immigration laws.” The idea was previously floated and rejected by administration officials. It was seen as a retaliatory move against Dems, who support sanctuary cities. Meantime, Trump accused the “Radical Left” of favoring open borders.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she hasn’t seen a report about President Trump and sanctuary cities but she’s calling it unworthy of the presidency. At the end of the House Democrats’ annual retreat in Northern Virginia, Pelosi said the U.S. is a nation of immigrants. The Washington Post is reporting that the Trump administration urged U.S. immigration officials to ship illegal migrants from the southern border to sanctuary cities across the country.

The cities included San Francisco, which Pelosi represents in Congress. The request was seen as way for President Trump to retaliate against political adversaries, but it never went anywhere.

An Army Wife’s Grief, Myesha Johnson Photo Melts Hearts Around The World

(SL) – The photo of Army wife Myesha Johnson collasping on the casket of her husband Sgt. La David Johnson is heartbreaking. Even more devastating is the fact that they have two kids and one on the way.  Donald Trump’s insensitive remark saying “he knew what he signed up for” was like twisting a knife.

Their children 6-year-old Ah’leeysa and toddler Ladavid Johnson Jr. — will never see their father again and his unborn child will never get to meet his soldier dad. It’s sad.

Johnson is one of four that was killed in Niger — along with Staff Sgt. Bryan Black, Staff Sgt. Jeremiah Johnson and Staff Sgt. Dustin Wright.

Donald Trump’s comments have raised questions about his behavior and MSN.com called it to a tee. Does it matter whether or not the President said something that offended Mrs. Johnson? Absolutely it does. And if he did, he ought to be man enough to admit it and apologize. As a matter of fact, regardless of what he said, he should still apologize to the members of the Johnson family, who are now, sadly, a Gold Star family. And one of those family members — Sgt. Johnson’s mother — backed up Democratic Congresswoman Frederica Wilson’s claim that the conversation upset Myeisha.

That should be all the “proof” Mr. Trump needs.

If there’s one thing — one damn thing, for goodness sake — we should all be able to agree on, it’s our responsibility to show respect for the families of our fallen troops.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders told reporters Wednesday that White House chief of staff John Kelly is “disgusted by the way this has been politicized and that the focus has come on the process and not the fact that American lives were lost.”

Kelly is right, of course. He knows all too well the pain the Johnsons and the Blacks and the Wrights and the Johnsons are feeling right now. Nobody so close to Trump is more credible on the issue.

Here’s hoping he made those same points to his boss.
