(Washington, DC-AP) — The head of the House Judiciary Committee is warning former White House Counsel Don McGahn to appear at a hearing today. In a letter to McGahn, Chairman Jerry Nadler said the committee is “prepared to use all enforcement mechanisms” to make him testify.
The Democrat-led committee has already issued a subpoena to force McGahn to testify and if doesn’t, the panel could hold him in contempt. McGahn’s lawyer says he plans to respect President Trump’s request to not testify.
The committee wants to ask McGahn about his testimony in the Mueller investigation.
