House Could Move On Enforcing Subpoenas In Russia Probe

(Washington, DC-AP) — The House is expected to vote this week to take more action with respect to Russia investigation subpoenas. A Democratic resolution would empower the Judiciary Committee to go to court to enforce subpoenas the Trump administration has rejected.

Meantime, Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler announced Monday the Justice Department has agreed to hand over key documents on obstruction of justice from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s final report.

The New York Democrat said a criminal contempt of Congress resolution against Attorney General Bill Barr has been put on hold.
