(Detroit, MI) – A Detroit Police sergeant and a photographer both are suing Trey Songz. The lawsuit accuses the singer of assault, racist insults and making obscene gestures during his booking photo.
Thirty-three-year-old Termaine Neverson, also known as Trey Songz, was taken into custody for assault and property damage at Joe Louis Arena in December 2016. During the incident, the officer claims Neverson punched him in the face and threw a microphone stand that hit the photographer in the head.
The duo are suing for assault and battery, along with intentional infliction of emotional distress. They are asking for more than 75 thousand dollars in damages.
