Three Mario Batali Restaurants In Las Vegas To Shut Down

(New York, NY) – Three Mario Batali restaurants in Las Vegas are shutting down. The news comes after the New York Police Department confirmed to CBS’s “60 Minutes” that it’s investigating a woman’s claim that the celebrity chef drugged and sexually assaulted her in 2005 at a West Village hot spot, the Spotted Pig.

Three-hundred workers at Carnevino Italian Steakhouse, B&B Ristorante and Otto Enoteca e Pizzeria at the Venetian and Palazzo resorts are being notified of the July 27th closures. Batali’s restaurant empire started crumbling last December and he was forced to resign from ABC’s “The Chew” after four women accused the chef of sexual misconduct.
