Court Date Pushed Back For Waffle House Shooter, Hero Raises Funds For Victims’ Families

(Nashville, TN) – The court date’s being pushed back for the man accused of killing four people in a Tennessee Waffle House with an AR-15 style assault rifle. The first court appearance for 29-year-old Travis Reinking was scheduled for today, but court documents say the hearing has been pushed back to May 7th because of scheduling conflicts between the lawyers.

Reinking is accused of opening fire at a Waffle House in a Nashville suburb early Sunday morning, killing four and wounding several others before James Shaw Jr intervened. Shaw had fled to the bathroom initially but after Reinking fired through the door grazing him in the arm, he decided to act. When Reinking looked down, Shaw sprung into to action hitting him with the door, causing him to lose control of the gun. Shaw then threw the gun out of reach while a naked Reinking cursed and ran off. article-wafflehouse-0423-1Joe Perez, Taurean Sanderlin, DeEbony Groves and Akilah DaSilva were all killed in the carnage.

More disturbing details have been released about the shooter who thought he was being stalked by Taylor Swift. A 2016 police report says the 29-year old thought his phone was hacked by the police, Taylor Swift and his family.

The report says Reinking was put in protective custody after he was found in a CVS parking lot “delusional.” In 2017, he threatened an employee of his father’s company with an AR-15 rifle, and was later arrested by the Secret Service for entering a restricted area near the White House. Family members told police that he owned a lot of guns. Authorities gave the guns to Reinking’s father who then gave the guns back to his son. waffle-house-shooting-03-travis-reinking-usat-jc-180424_hpMain_4x3_992Anger spread quickly when it was announced that the suspect would receive a bond. However, a Tennessee judge revoked the two million dollar fee and court documents show that state judge Michael Mondelli didn’t provide an explanation for his decision.

At last glance, the Hero, James Shaw Jr. had raised over 100k for the victims’ families while another go fund me account setup for him has surpassed 50k in a matter of hours.

Toronto Van Suspect Left “Cryptic Message” On Facebook

(Toronto) – Authorities aren’t commenting on a “cryptic message’ linked to the suspect in yesterday’s deadly Toronto van attack. At least ten people were killed and several others were wounded as the van raced down a busy sidewalk and street, striking many people.

Homicide detective Graham Gibson refused to comment on reports that say the Facebook post made a mention of an “incel rebellion.” It’s believed “incel” is short for “involuntary celibate,” and matches with a Reddit group that advocated sexual assault against women. Detective Gibson remarked that now that suspect Alek Minassian has been charged, he can’t comment on the evidence or motive in the case.

Man Who Claims To Be Alex Rodriguez’s Nephew Held For Ransom

(New York, NY) – A man who has long claimed to be the nephew of former Yankee Alex Rodriguez is okay after being held for ransom this week in New York.
Cops say 29-year-old Norberto Susini was briefly held against his will by prospective buyers of a Lamborghini after the deal went bad inside his Times Square hotel room.
The two men allegedly demanded their 35-thousand-dollar deposit back, and when Susini refused, they attempted to get money from his business partners, who then called police. The two men Lamin Vucetovic, 33, and Anthony Gilkes, 30, were arrested after surrendering to police. As for Susini’s relationship to A-Rod, a source with knowledge of the matter tells “USA Today” there is no actual familial relationship.
Susini told police he’s A-Rod’s nephew, but a spokesman for the former Yankee said Susino is the son of Rodriguez’s half-brother Joe’s late girlfriend.“This guy is 100-percent not Alex’s relative,” a spokesman for A-Rod said.
According to the Miami-Dade Clerk’s office, in 2014, Susini was charged with three counts of dealing in stolen property and one count of organized fraud, The disposition is listed as “no action,” denoting that the prosecutor declined to press charges.
In January 2018, Susini was charged with another third-degree felony for grand theft of a vehicle. That case was also marked as no action.
Reportedly, there is an open case against him. Susini is due in court later this month on a third degree felony charge for grand theft of a vehicle

Stormy Daniels’ Attorney Thinks Michael Cohen Is ‘Radioactive’

(New York, NY) – The lawyer for porn star Stormy Daniels strongly believes that within the next 90 days, an indictment will be unsealed against Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen for a host of serious offenses.

On CNN’s “State of the Union,” Michael Avenatti says Cohen is radioactive and the investigation won’t end well. Avenatti believes this is going to be a significant domino effect, as Cohen could be indicted for bank and wire fraud along with campaign finance violations. Cohen’s office was raided last week by the FBI reportedly in connection to payments made to Daniels.

According to Avenatti, Daniels will be in court with Cohen on Monday afternoon in New York. This is to send the message that this is a very serious matter for her and she wants to make sure the American people know she’s behind efforts to bring to light as much information and documents as possible. Avenatti said Daniels wants to ensure that she’s heard and represented at the hearing and this has nothing to do with getting into Cohen’s head at all.
