(SL) – The Warriors erased an 18-point second-half deficit and rallied fora 120-117 victory over the Wizards in a game marred by a fight between Golden State’s Draymond Green and Washington’s Bradley Beal. The Warriors missed on 17 of 20 3-point attempts in the first half then lost Green when he and Beal were both ejected after getting into a fight with 19.5 seconds left in the first half.
Golden State erupted for 33 points in the fourth quarter, taking the lead for good on an Andre Iguodala layup with 3:13 to go. Warriors went on to win 120-117
Beal says, “Soon as it happened at halftime I apologized and I apologized again after the game. That’s unacceptable by me, for sure. I’ve got to show better leadership and better control.”
No word yet on if any suspensions will be handed down
