(SL) – Hottie Trey Songz is in hot water after having a meltdown on stage in Detroit after his mic was cut off. The singer made good on a promise to tear up the stage if his mic was cut at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.
Videos posted online show the 32-year-old Slow Motion crooner announcing that the venue threatened to cut off his mic because he went over his set time.
The Detroit Police Department says Songz, whose real name is Tremaine Neverson, was arrested Wednesday night after the show for resisting arrest and malicious destruction of property.
Songz faces malicious destruction of property and resisting and obstructing charges. Police say he was being held early Thursday at the Detroit Detention Center.
Trey, Chris Brown, and Young Thug are set to continue their tour in Chicago on Friday, December 30th.
There has been no word yet as to how his arrest will affect the performance.
