(SL) -The NBA Playoffs continued Tuesday night with the Atlanta Hawks and the Boston Celtics facing off for game 2 at Philips Arena. But it wasn’t much of a match with Atlanta coming out the gate early and setting the tone for a complete blowout. Boston never had a chance after being limited to just 7 – 1st quarter points. Something that Celtics 2nd unit leader Evan Turner says was just downright unacceptable.Post Game I asked Boston Guard Evan Turner about The Celtics’ slow start:
Overall, the Hawks would hold them to just 72 points for the night..a serious compliment to the defensive effort by the Atlanta. Coach Mike Budenholzer talked about the way the Hawks started the game and their defensive focus.
The Hawks hope to maintain their momentum as they prepare to travel to Boston for game 3 on Friday. Tip off is at 8 pm.
