But, let’s talk about what happened last night.  Paul George and the Indiana Pacers hoped to cramp Atlanta’s style but even with a hot 31, George could not lead the Pacers to victory after defeating the Hawks twice this season.  Paul Millsap was right there to answer everything George dished out.

And Al Horford, who has been at the center of trad talks had a huge 4th quarter for Atlanta to secure a nice lead and eventually the W. His jumper with just 1:19 left was huge and put the Hawks up 95-90. Horford finished with 21-points, 7 rebounds and 6-assists.

Atlanta recovered from a rough 1st half that included several turnovers and and even though they were out rebounded the Pacers couldn’t keep up with the drive and transition that the Atlanta Hawks are known for. Can they keep it up is the question? Jeff Teague believes if they stay focused they can. A lot of the Hawks’ problems have long been rumored to be mental. The talent is there and Teague, once again, gave Atlanta

several reasons to reconsider swapping him out. He had 16 points to help Horford and Millsap who scored 24 lead Atlanta past Indiana and maintain that 3rd place spot in the Eastern Conference. Atlanta will play Orlando in Orlando Sunday at 1pm and again at home Monday at 8pm.
